We had a fabulous stay at Whisper Mountain with our boys visiting family and chilling out. We enjoyed relaxing at the lodge, playing pool and also took advantage of the well equipped exercise room. It was so peaceful having our morning coffee on the balcony watching the birds and other wildlife around us, truly a magical place. Stunning views and great walking trails, so much to see and do here. We will definitely be back, considering buying a lot here too.
What incredible experiences we’ve had staying at this cabin. The views are unbelievable, the location is fantastic, and the home itself is beautiful — truly no downsides to staying here! Would recommend to anyone hoping to enjoy a peaceful mountain weekend and already planning our next trip back!
Such a beautiful, well maintained property! Perfect for a remote getaway with quick and easy access to Asheville, local trails, etc. Every stay here is magical!
Whisper Mountain is a MUST VISIT!! We go every year and it’s a trip we make sure to put on our calendar. The views are truly breathtaking and it’s a perfect distance from downtown Asheville. You get the best balance between mountain serenity and classic Asheville fun, but if I’m being honest, once you’re settled in at Whisper Mountain you aren’t going to want to leave!
Beautiful mountain views! Nice neighborhood to walk/hike with babbling streams. Gorgeous homes. Enjoy visiting our friends there!
Wonderful property! Gorgeous views. Been there to visit friends!
Great views, beautiful homes with modern conveniences and the visual appeal of yesteryear, promoting natural and green building.
Whisper Mountain is one of those places you truly have to see to believe - because to say it is peaceful, quiet, relaxing and scenic simply does not do it justice. At just under 30 mins from downtown Asheville, 45 mins from Waynesville, and a short drive to hiking, skiing, white water rafting, etc, Whisper Mountain is quite honesty one of the best kept secrets of Western NC. We purchased our home a few years ago, as a second home, but more importantly as a chance to get away from our busy life in Virginia. Since coming here to visit, my wife and I often say that we should just retire tomorrow because having to leave is getting harder and harder.
I have family that live on Whisper Mountain and love coming to visit. The sunrises are breathtaking.
