Sky Valley Lodge
The Owners’ Lodge, known as the Sky Valley Clubhouse, is a majestic structure that provides a restful haven to exercise your body or relax your mind, work in peace, or commune with neighbors.
It’s where we host our community gatherings, meetings, and other special events. Owners can also book the lodge for private events.
Commemorating the skills of the area’s historic settlers, the Lodge was hand-hewn from 160-year-old hemlock from an old barn and timbers that were harvested from the property. Local Madison County stone was harvested from nearby Doggett Mountain.
Lodge Amenities
Enjoy entertaining in the full kitchen which overlooks the grand lodge with its native stone gas log fireplace. Appliances include a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and cooktop, and dishwasher. The antique quarter-sawn, glass-front oak cabinetry houses a collection of tableware for entertaining. There is also an outdoor gas grill for barbecuing.
Work out in the naturally lit fitness facility with its treadmill, elliptical, exercise bike, free weights, and handicapped bathroom.
Gather on the covered porch in front of the stone, wood-burning fireplace and take in the 30 miles of awe-inspiring mountain vistas, including long-range views of Mt. Mitchell, Pisgah National Forest. It’s the perfect spot for cozy gatherings with family and friends.
Leverage the business center with Internet, printing, copying, and faxing capabilities. Wi-fi is available throughout the Lodge.
Take advantage of the spacious fine wood decks to host gatherings large and small, including private celebrations. The upstairs balcony houses a pool table and a small balcony to take in the views.
